About the CPHQ
The CPHQ is an international certification for healthcare quality professionals. It is awarded by NAHQ, a professional body based in the United States, and is held by quality professionals in many countries.
What the course covers
The course is built around the areas of the CPHQ exam:
- Organisational leadership: quality structures, strategy, regulation and accreditation, and leading change
- Health data analytics: collecting, measuring, analysing and presenting data
- Performance and process improvement: improvement methods such as PDSA, Lean and Six Sigma
- Patient safety: safety culture, risk and learning from incidents
- How the exam works and how to prepare for it

- Quality, patient safety and risk staff
- Nurses, doctors and allied health professionals moving into quality roles
- Managers responsible for quality, audit or accreditation
